$1.2m of Bert's remuneration was granting of service rights. As I understand it they will only vest on meeting certain targets over a number of years (one of which is actually hanging around). So really it is kind of misleading to suggest he was paid over $2m during this year when 50% of his remuneration is actually a multi year payment he may or may not receive.
