Not entirely sure I understand the question; Bid 42C with a close of 41.5C and that tells me a 100% chance of you being filled for your buy at limit.
If in a pre or post auction jockeying for getting a fill, you simply bid at the highest price among the bidders to get an opening/closing guaranteed fill or sell at the lowest ask to make sure you are filled as well. It isn't dependent on your bid or ask during this 2 10min auction.
