from the website The Taronga Tin project is currently 100% owned by ASX-listed Aus Tin Mining (ANW). The asset has a JORC (2012) reserve of 22mt @ 0.16% Sn for 35,600t of contained tin. A Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) was recently completed for an open cut mine, generating up to 3ktpa of contained tin over a 9.3 year mine life. Initial capital for the mine was estimated at A$88m, with a C1 cash cost of A$17,935/t(sorry did miss the AUD) so 1334USD compared to C1 cash cost of US$9,176/tonne of tin for KAS.

thats a PFS (ANW) vs DFS (KAS)...
and within that PFS is like a 10% contingency, kas don't seem to have a contigency in their DFS. eitherway.... KAS may one day mine.
