Dear Zehn, your maths is all wrong!
example for you;
oil price $75 usd: aud/ usd .77 per your example above. To get to the correct answer $75/.77=97.4. To put it in simple terms; one US dollar is worth more than an Aussie dollar currently. If I had a $100 Australian dollars I would only get $77 US dollars. If it was the other way around and I had $100 US dollars, I would get $130 Australian dollars.
Hope me it makes sense
