Thanks for taking time to share your first-hand observations of the meeting.
Personally, I welcome increased scrutiny and questioning in relation to the standards by which the companies, in which I am a shareholder, conduct themselves... be those standards of an environmental, social or governance nature.
Because raised standards equates to increased business robustness and raised industry entry barriers.
I was happy with the directors' frank and candid responses to those environmental questions... answers were forthright and clear, and where the answer was not known or the directors felt the company was not where it needed to be, it was stated as such.
