Worth noting from the last investor call:
PYC hope to replicate ProQR's phase 1 (10 patients) that ran for just 3 months before moving into a combined pivotal phase study (40 to 50 patients).
As TB2 said there are currently no existing treatments for the class of disease, so no phase 3 trial required.
Also PYC expect the patients in the trials to be administered the drug as out-patients.
Doesn't sound overly expensive clinical trials to me.
