The key in auto parts is having an efficient distribution system which Bapcor has. Getting parts from the manufacturer to the workshop is a major headache especially actually having the parts in stock.
GUD is more a manufacturer and importer whilst Bapcor is the parts stockist and distributor. Two sectors in the chain from manufacturer to end buyer.
I have held Bapcor for years and bought into GUD on recent share price weakness. I have a background in auto parts with GUD one of our mayor suppliers.
