In adulthood we understand that the passing of time is in fact relative to oneself.
30 seconds of pain is really very long.
While... 2 days left before a loved one moves overseas is relatively short.
And so... Waiting for reality to catch up with the fantasy of being rich, or so very rich, that too would be a long one too.
