This is a truly remarkable result and was foretold by some excellent drilling results over the past several months.
There are very few world-class hard-rock tin deposits in the world and Renison is definitely one of them.
Tin is probably not well understood by the average investor so it might help to translate these results into terms of gold-equivalent :- gold deposits being more common and therefore more familiar.
Using current prices and allowing for some rounding and not allowing for recovery etc etc, 1% Sn = 5 g/t Au.
So the Renison total resource is 17.55 Mt @ 7.5 g/t gold equivalent = 130 tonnes of gold eq = 4.2 million ounces gold equivalent.
Area 5 alone is 4.47 Mt at 9.5 g/t gold equivalent = 1.37 Moz gold equivalent.
