I am astonished how quickly IEL has recovered! I initially thought that this is pure speculation going on here however I am professionally involved wit a couple of universities in Queensland and they all say that COVID-19 is a long-term game changer for them as it is expected to push a big chunk of education to the online mode. Some unis are already planning to find a better use for teaching buildings that are most likely going to stay redundant.
So perhaps this is the underlying reason for IEL moving up - they may be one of the big winners in the longer term and the market has already picked this up. In the meantime, I sold my shares with an excellent profit yesterday, will definitely buy back if drops under $20.
