I think they really need to capitalise on the space in its infancy or they'll be doomed to fall behind. There's definitely a need for the product, though it can be replicated and scaled quickly, not to mention other BNPL can seek alternative verticals and impact their market.
This is kind of reminding me of flexi (HUM) in that they truly had the innovative product, but didnt act on it early enough and in the instance of HUM, are now lagging significantly behind competitors.
