Some investors it would seem are taking the bait about the expectation of dividends as expressed in the Chairman's address - as they have zillions in carried forward tax losses, these dividends, if actually paid some time in the foreseeable future, will be unfranked - so you'll be paying tax on them and you won't be able to offset any capital losses against this income.
Promises, promises - I wonder how Argonaut Insurance that have financed $160mil in enviro bonds on behalf of NCZ view the payment of dividends before these bonds are repaid.
