They claim they're making money on the EBITDA line but EBITDA is an unregulated formula that is never audited and you'll find that some companies exclude various expenses that really should be included.
I'm actually shocked that ASIC allow companies to quote EBITDA figures in correspondence to shareholders when they're raising funds with a prospectus.
I think I will follow up on this with a general complaint to ASIC about this practice as I believe it should be stopped.
