Nice vote of confidence. I did not say IRD would use a slurry pipeline, in fact they have stated that CEIP ore is not suitable for transshipment by this method. My reference was to other wannabe magnetite produces that state in their PFS that they will use existing infrastructure and slurry lines etc as a matter of fact, that they will do the job and be economical, no problem. IRD intentions are as I stated, to construct and use the strategic linkages across the Eyre Peninsula as highlighted in 2021 AGM.
I doubt you read the infrastructure document that I referenced, in particular 3.2.3 Impediments to Development of Magnetite Projects. See above post. SIMMEC mining references HAV resources in the Braemar region which are across the railway line to MGT resources and on the same line as HIO resources, but closer to ports.
In this document they state that the existing railway is not suitable for the transporting of iron ore, and that a seperate line will need to be built. They say that the water supply won’t meet production at scale and that a desalination plant would be required to be built, with associated pipeline from the coast. They also have a say on power requirements etc.
I have respect for HAV who no longer ramp their iron ore resources and ambitions to mine as they seem to acknowledge the impediments to mining. MGT have acknowledged that they won’t be mining at scale for the near future, but HIO go on their merry way, talking about expansion potentials etc as if no barriers exist.
I don’t need to or intend to pump IRD, no need. They are so far advanced, they have a mining license, no more PFS, BFS approvals etc required. They are shovel ready, and own the land for a port. They have a planned infrastructure corridor and the proposed mine site is only 148 Kms from that proposed port. Low SOI and very few of them available to retail. etc etc
HC is a way to share information, and that information and other research was why I invested here.
