Nah, when Mark wanted money he was 5x over subscribed. Does not need the money from shareholders now so he's not asking US to do this. TLG can do stage 1 at 5k then move to 19.5k without issuing equity. SP as you know is a separate issue.
With all the stimulus and infrastructure spend announcements around the world. There is plenty of cheap or even free money. You will remember in the US Solindra, Tesla plus others were given loans and grants to accelerate their activities. Solindra burnt out, Tesla paid it back with interest.
Surely such funds will be available post the EU vote on CRM last week. I think we are talking Governments lending, not banks. Marks EU meeting with Commissioners and UK APC, suggests TLG certainly has a lot of visibility. Not aware of any other ASX microcap playing at this level.
