Have a look on the net. Usually capital raise is at discount to current share price.
And it is off market transaction.
Look at LMG recently. They traded at 18c and then capital raise at 10c. Share price now 9.2c.
Look at PAM. Traded at 80c then capital raise at 40c. Now trading at 47c.
NOU traded at $25. Capital raise at $8.60. Share price going down to that price at the moment.
There is no way around it we have to do capital raise. We need cash. And money get exchanged for shares. There many examples of this.
Have a look at the other structures of Mitsui. They usually take equity for cash. It how they create maximum value for there money.
