I understand that LIC's measure themselves against a benchmark. However, that no longer seems true - most dont want to measure themselves as few if any actually beat the index after costs. Many in fact dont show that graph anymore as it doesnt look good.
So it is my view that unless there are more BRK and SOL this sector cpuld just naturally underperform.
To make the point just measure yourself annually against the index - this daily, monthly and quarterly measurement is artificial and contributes to the short term thinking that funds have.
