I don't think the PE is an overly relevant indicator for BKI or SOL because their regular profits always get thrown out by once off capital gains etc. SOL seem to prefer net operating income as the best indicator of how their business is performing. But yes I think your right if we look at it in terms of assets per share BKW would still be the cheaper option.
