My experience as a reasonably long term SOL holder is that this is a very boring company. And that when nothing is going on you get a reversion to a very boring share price. But then you’ll get some exciting news and the share price will respond accordingly. This isn’t a typical LIC pattern because SOL’s investments are more concentrated - larger holdings in a smaller number of companies. At least that was the pattern pre-Milton but I expect SOL will revert to type and that means being a boring company with a long term investment horizon influenced by announcements from a small number of companies
