The BNPL sector is simply undergoing fundamental change. The banks and others with real power have let them run, knowing full well that regulation would beat them into submission and give the power back to them (not that it every truly left). Once the BNPL regulation process is complete, stocks such as QFE and Splitit will take more of a prominent role (no cross promotion - they are of course partnered).
The current crop of BNPL providers will consolidate and/or run through BNPL banking tech. It is also worth noting the A.I. value of companies like QuickFee. It is clear that despite being unprofitable, AfterPay was used as a vehicle for mass data collection to build better A.I. systems, and I see QuickFee being used for the same purpose within the business sector. This will add value to the company as more clients come oonboard,
