sounds like a get out of jail free card if/when this never comes to fruition. It may be obvious but it rings a warning bell for me that they felt the need to spell it out here.
seems like an attempt to appease the shareholders that have been craving a decent contract so we can see some sort of progress (as was hinted at several times under the cover of stealth mode)
