Yes a couple of points I've come across in the research
1) Pain, I believe SubQ with some drugs are preferred as it is less painful in the fatty areas (Thighs, Butt, Stomach), but in theory SubQ injections can be given anywhere including arms as some footballers have had so far.
2) SubQ is generally slower uptake into the body compared to injections (intramuscular). This may have an advantage and work favourably in the case of delivery of iPPS in humans.
