That is a very risky approach SdW. I speak from experience here, having lost all my savings by backing a stock that I fell in love with. I am much more risk averse these days. I keep 90% in cash offset against my mortgage and the majority of the remaining 10% is in dividend paying stocks and ETFs. I only allow myself a relatively small indulgence in speculative stocks like SRL. For me, this is a hard limit because I know that there is always a possibility that the company fails to deliver on its potential. After all, SRL is just one company among many with battery metals. I am willing to speculate that SRL will succeed, which is why I am invested (also below $1.80 avg), but I will never again put all my savings into a company that isn't paying dividends.
