Just watched Steve present at Diggers&Dealers.
Not much new news (perhaps a couple of things I hadn't really heard / understood before), and a couple of nice touches:
- BGL is really pushing the ESG angle. They ran a couple of videos including a Welcome to Country from Colleen Berry (a local elder), and another video with voxpop from members of the team.
- Reiteration of the 70k per month mantra - which would put us at 4moz in a year's time.
- I thought I heard Steve say that there was c. 400koz gold in the remnants of the old mine - that hasn't been factored into any of the studies. Just checked the first feasibility study and yep - 460koz remnants that are included in the inferred category, but not included in the LOM plan.
- I am still worried that FS2 will extend production, but not give us the LOM that we are hoping for (currently 7.4 years). BGL seem to be pushing the narrative that all the nearby peers with similar geology have a very long LOM - so don't worry about it! Guess we will see.
