Michael, I don't want to split hairs, and apologies in advance if that's how it seems, but I think it needs to be said that effective disinfection of lumens in endosocopes is only really a problem because the current endosocope cleaning processes to remove caked on biocontaminants and biofilm are somewhat unreliable.
To the extent that NAN's automated endoscope cleaning process will improve on the reliability of cleaning endoscopes (and in particular endoscope lumens) prior to the disinfection process, then in my mind, that is the "holy grail problem" that NAN seems confident of solving.
