As if protection of ones own's capital is dictated by ignoring someone on hotcopper.

Surely one, if one had significant capital at stake, would at a minimum, be on the phone to their brokers and requesting all the available broker reports, both from their own brokerage house, but also from alternative brokers houses. Afterall, the brokers work together. They have alternative broker houses reports, and they will pass it on to their valued clients. They will act in their own best interests to serve their clients who generate commission for them.
