Agree re; hyperion, very strong track record and arguably attractive with this selloff however may come under a bit of pressure if interest rates move quicker than the market is anticipating. I'm of the opinion that the lion-share of returns going forward will come from dividends rather than capital appreciation which is not the going consensus which is that dividends are useless and the only real money to be made is in unprofitable tech stocks and lithium miners.

I have a little bit in WAM Global, rationale is that NAV is $2.62, can currently buy it on ASX for $2.30 (12% discount) pays fully franked dividend of 4.8% (6.8% with franking). Pretty boring businesses but should so 4-5% capital growth over time + nearly 7% div is fine with me.

Portfolio looks very different to the index which I like, not one of these active index fund jockeys which give you the index return minus their fees (Which gives active management a bad wrap and leads to the statistic 95% of active managers don't beat the market but thats another rabbit hole).

Another interesting option is WCM which trades under WCMQ:ASX which has come off and they're into competitive advantage + culture alignment.

I'd be very interested if GQG launched an Emerging fund ETF on the ASX or similar.

    Cheers,
