I know the frustration.. I had the same thing with WGB when I particiapted in the IPO.. from memory, they did not even pay dividend in the first year and then some 2% returns for the second year.. I sold out close to breakeven after keeping it for 2 years.. and now, I feel stupid for doing that haha
I think, these things are for the long term (minimum 5 years).. at least GQG is paying a nice dividend from start.
