QBE premium retention was about 67% in h2 last year, and has jumped to 83% this year, even with premium rate increases not as high as last year, that rollover really reduces frictional costs, and we can see that in the lower expense and commission ratio IMO.
Some interest rate normalisation will help in the investment return department.
