"The CommSec index of luxury new vehicle sales rose to a 3-month high in August (and second highest in 33 months) – an annual total of 92,177 vehicles.
An estimated $62.5bn has been redirected from overseas travel to domestic spending and savings, says CommSec chief economist Craig James. "Purchases of cars, home and discretionary goods are benefitting."..."
