As for MFG portfolio is concerned it is the A$ appreciation is the reason for average performance. I think about 60% of the portfolio is affected by A$ appreciation by 10%. Portfolio shares are doing quite well. In fact since release of the 4th Qtr results at beginning of February 2021, technology shares have shot upon again. Google, Microsoft,alibaba, tencent have performed exceptionally well during last 10 days. However A$ keeps going up. Prediction if currency movements are difficult at any time, but long term it reverts back last 30 to 40 averages of .72cts. When these align it should be excellent story for MFG. Until then enjoy the 4.5% dividend yield+ franking credit.
