Correct, I am assigning little value to the options.
I have never witnessed attaching options to a closed fund do anything other than peg the share price. There is a reason they have become relics when floating new funds.
The fund in question both employs a buy back and personal investment from both directors.
I am not trying to slag Magellan. I have nothing but respect for Hamish.
However, the current cash grab - just isn't enticing to investors.
