Price is quite low now. I think it is a question of believing in the future. As far as I am concerned, Hamish is correct in saying the MFG portfolio will out do MSCI index and 10% bond rates in the long term. Once the market has restored the value stock to the correct market value, which stocks are going to outperform. It has to be Microsoft,Google, Facebook,Alibaba and the rest FUM portfolio. The balance 50% in the portfolio like Yum,McDonald’s, Pepsi, Starbucks, visa are solid companies. All these have a better future than 500 or 1000 companies in other index portfolio. A$ too one day come back to long term average of .72cts range. Plus if the Principal investments play’s its part, on the long term MFG has to be a winner.
