A good business going forward? Corporate FDs are generally much more expensive than independents. This wasn't a problem years back when people just went to their 'local' firm without knowing the real ownership or querying the price. Back in July 2018 Dignity (IVC's UK sibling) reported “The number of consumers starting their purchasing journey online has increased from 2% in 2012 to 45% in 2018” and this number will only increase year on year. This is perhaps one of the few businesses where large firms can't compete with smaller ones.
