The wall family ( founder) is holding 34.8M shares which is just under 20% of total shares according to the last annual report from
Sep/22.
The Estate will sell shares, Yes or No will depend on the Trust that the estate has created for its beneficiaries, it could be a Testamentary trust which is irrevocable and allows access to trust assets at predetermined times such as a monthly contribution ,,, etc.
As Codan pays a generous Div that is 100% franked, this type of income can cater to many family members
For many years to come, a good enough reason to stay invested.
Secondly, No reason to sell all the shares at a depressed level
But then again who knows
