Couple of things: Bob Vassie delivered a 1,700 word speech reviewing the FY22 performance of a gold mining company. 490 of those 1,700 words were about the operations of that gold mining company, much of the rest was waffle. He devoted 430 words about ESG and 132 words about the Edna May hub including the existential threat to the company with stage 3 being not being viable.. Fair dinkum, this bloke paints by numbers.

Also Apollo is not the saviour or even the third hub, more like a mars bar next to the check-out. Edna May Stage 3 is a dead parrot, not sure why Vassie did not address what Plan B is. And any day now Ramelius is going to pounce on a 100k oz pa operation with at least 5 years life of mine and metrics at least as good as Mt Magnet that is in WA ... any day now ... very soon ... there must be hundreds of companies that fit that description so little wonder why Ramelius has been just about to pounce for over two years now.

Also, where was Mark Zeptner? Was he there and if so why was the CFO giving the CEO's speech? Qantas must have cancelled his tickets again.
