We initiate on Smartgroup with a fair value estimate of AUD 8.10 per share, and assign the group with no-moat, high uncertainty, and Standard capital allocation ratings. Shares currently trade at a 26% discount to our fair value estimate, which in our view overlooks the firm's strong market position, ability to increase product takeup, and its defensive client base.
