Presumably, exiting directors might wish to make a quick and early exit as soon as possible after the conclusion of the meeting, rather than be sitting on a call and answering questions. Reasonable call in my opinion - why drag out the situation any further? They're already aware of their unpopularity amongst shareholders (thus, the removal / resignations). Wish them all of the best and move forward - onward and upwards for the benefit of the company and patients as the final outcome.
