They drive the pricing in the market and their scale outstrips others ability to compete completely on materials purchasing.
Unfortunately their CEO and management team have done a very poor job on market pricing. Their costs have increased and they appear unable/unwilling to be able to pass these costs increases on to their customers and take a "market leading" position. Its pretty poor management imo - 101 marketing and margin management is pass the costs on IF you are the leader.
