The other candidate to takeover MEL is the other joint venture partner Bridgeport Energy Limited which is a wholly owned subsidiary of New Hope Corporation Limited (ASX:NHC), a 5 billion dollar cap company. When the cash and gas starts to flow the JV partners will be looking at MEL as easy/cheap way to substantial increase their cashflow, MEL wont be staying at these prices for too much longer.
