don't worry about past performer. I would suggest that pastperformer owns 'quality' stocks regardless of price paid.
The current market is punishing 'concept' stocks massively, and 'quality' stocks that are over priced severely.
Maybe past performer is over exposed, and sweating on these two sectors, especially as an over exposure to these two concepts would have seen very generous returns in times gone by.
