Answer: They would have grown even more slowly than they did....
Scaling argument is weak if you're not getting low customer acquisition costs as a result of reinvesting to scale better + network effects.
Buying customers expensively isn't a sign of a great SAAS business IMO. GLTAH, you may need it in this new anti growth stock meta
