The annual meeting of the Breast Cancer Panel of the NCCN was on August 25-26. Mike Bassett, the investor relations spokesman, told me today in an email response to my question, that they know that the submission was evaluated. The answer will come at the next meeting of the Panel, but all the other meetings are unscheduled, so it is not known when that will be. Last year there were six unscheduled meetings, but they don't happen at regular intervals..
As we know, a negative finding does not destroy Impedimed's chances, but a positive one would certainly help.
For what it is worth, I found Mike Bassett in a long phone discussion to be sincere, dedicated, in fact passionate about the cause of having Impedimed's technology widely used. (He is also in charge of the renal program) I only hope all Impedimed's people are working as hard and with as much conviction.
