Too hard to know.if it's CHK related or just macro-spooking.
The way they are talking about global recession, hyper-inflation, Putin taking Russia out in a blaze of nuclear glory - some people are selling EVERYTHING - not just CHK.
One things for sure, some people might be thinking "I've waited long enough.- think could use the money elsewhere to buy some more attractive stocks that have bottomed."
It's not much money for this punt - and if they do hit IOCG pay-dirt - will be a good little earner.
Speculation at its finest (i.e. high risk, possible high reward).
Simply a question of "do you feel lucky?" and can you wear it if it goes down the can?
