I didn't mean gold stocks were a hedge for my portfolio. I'm far too simple an investor to do anything complicated like hedging.
I'm just a value investor seeing value in ASX gold stocks that have been in a long downtrends. I also like to catch falling knives and suffering deep drawdowns. So this fits the bill.
As for what gold price might help RRL. They're actually screwed because of high AISC and hedges with the silver donut.
