Do you mean ‘divest’, or ‘diversify’ (into other minerals/activities)? I’d be opposed to diversification for its own sake: YAL’s strength is in coal, and that’s where it should continue to concentrate its efforts. As many companies have discovered to their cost, diversification is too often a prelude to the squandering of assets.
