Mo1983 I wish the ASX could look into these types of shenanigans.
I got done over by a short seller who put a 25m sell order with a rocketing price and no more than 100,000 shares at each sell line. Imagine what that did to the SP.
ASX protect the big players and allow bots to play us. Retail are often on the losing end.
When I saw that 50m buy order I said to myself it would get sold into and so it did. I was thinking as you pointed out the plan was to stop the SP free fall but to trick buyers to line up and allow them to dump when they were ready and at the higher price.
Sometimes your gut feel is the best indicator.
