In other words.. you need to hold the shares for 45 day's at least from prior ex-dividend date in order to claim franking credit's (45+ day holding rule only applies if you've claimed $5,000+ or more in franking credit's already during current financial year).
If you haven't claimed or received $5,000+ or more in franking credit's during current financial year then no need to worry about 45 day holding rule since not applicable as you'll still receive the franking credit's regardless.
