Profitability is actually up for the year. Given GQG only floated in 2021, the tax expense distorts the comparable periods.
Yes their expenses are up, but because it's such a small base compared to the revenue profitability is still up.
Great result, and great to see the payout ratio. Shame it isn't franked, but it is what it is.
