Mik, if you say you ain’t smoking, then maybe you’re pill popping..? Cos you live in a fantasy land if you think the survey industry sustains double digit bottom line profit margins...
And, If you swallowed the old lines from the previous financial manager and co about potential margins without doing some homework of your own on the sector well maybe you don’t need a pill or a smoke because you’ve already escaped from reality.
What I do know is the underlying trading performance might not be fantastic but it’s $16m BETTER than the last financial manager and co presided over… perhaps they were smoking rather than being focused on the job at hand? And I had a look at the accounts, and the goodwill that you reckon was the reason for the turnaround was mostly written off 3 years ago, so not sure how you claim the turnaround was only a result of that…?
